Aspens participates in TELC forum in China

Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Development Forum 2019 is one of the most important international events in the capital of Shanxi Province. This event is the third in the series held in Taiyuan.
Officials from the governments of various countries and international organizations, leaders and experts in the energy industry attended the forum and shared their insights on a range of topics related to renewable energy, energy efficiency, emission reduction, climate change and sustainable development.

The event included a summit forum during the opening ceremony, an energy industry exhibition, and six sub-forums. Delegates discussed the latest developments in efficient use of coal, exploration and utilization of natural gas, internet for energy, urgent challenges for new energy, nuclear energy, and hydrogen in the six sub-forums, where Aspens also presented its market-leading hydrogen technology.
The Taiyuan Forum aims to create a high-level and authoritative dialogue platform for the world’s best minds in the industry to share their visions and talk about cooperation for sustainable development.
One of the key guests was Bohuslav Sobotka, former Prime Minister of the Czech Republic. He was among the world leaders who signed the Paris Climate Agreement during the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris in 2015. Paroubek praised China’s efforts to “Take charge of global climate governance and actively participate in the negotiation of the Paris Agreement “.

Aspens exhibits its fuel cells at TELC

For the third time, the Energy Exhibition was held in the Chinese provincial capital of Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. This year, Aspens was also present as an exhibitor. On an exhibition area of 36,000 square meters, a collection of pictures and models reflecting the development of energy sources was displayed. Numerous visitors were able to learn about current projects and technologies for sustainable energy supply in the future.
Among the exhibitors were mainly global energy companies such as Shell and Areva but also numerous coal companies. Especially in the field of power generation, a strong rethinking is taking place regarding the clean use of coal by gasification instead of combustion.

Aspens GmbH presented its latest fuel cell stacks at a joint booth with the Lu’an Group. The fuel cell stacks, made of metallic bipolar plates, are characterized above all by their high performance light and durability.
